Val Verde Park - July 9th 2026 - Come Together: Classic Rock & Originals in the Park
Come together to kick off the start of the Sounds of LA County free summer concert series!
Celebrate this special time with us and our community under the open sky
Turn the volume all the way up for Val Verde Park! Supercharging a heavy dose of rock and mind-bending psychedelic rock, classic covers and originals!
Val Verde is famous for its massive ancient oak trees giving the park its lush, hidden-valley vibe. There’ll be fuzzy guitar tones and heavy bass lines to literally shake the leaves off those trees.

North LA County, we're thrilled to announce El Cariso Community Regional Park's incredible lineup of emerging Latino voices presented by LA County Parks and NextFest LA, curated by LA Playground.
✨ THE LINEUP ✨
The park is a deeply significant local memorial to honor the young men of the El Cariso Hotshots firefighting crew during the Loop Fire on November 1, 1966. Built on a legacy of community strength, local pride, and resilience, this park has been a sanctuary for locals to gather and celebrate heritage.
Come for the community and stay for the music.

For the first week of our summer concert series at one of the oldest operational county parks in LA, the Franklin D. Roosevelt Park presented by LA County Parks and NextFest LA to bring you an immersive experience with a stacked showcase!
Music takeover at the park curated by LABellatini & Friends Over Followers with lively Latin orchestra, palpable local beats, and unapologetically femme frequency.

San Angelo Park - July 11th, 2026 - Mucho Gusto Summer Series Vol. 1
Presented by LA County Parks and NextFest LA: MUCHO GUSTO Summer Series Vol. 1 will be San Gabriel Valley's 2026 summer soundtrack. 🪅
Built on the historic soil of Rancho La Puente, San Angelo Park is deeply rooted in Latino community. A massive community celebration of culture and music curated by MUCHO GUSTO.

This summer, George Lane Park, the treasured heart of Quartz Hill plays host to an evening of pure jazz and funk aptly as #HodgePodgeLA Butch and Rhonda Coleman + Friends.
The park's amphitheater will come alive with syncopated rhythms and soulful grooves. 🏜️ Presented by LA County Parks and NextFest LA, this sonic oasis will feature our lineup below!

Did you know that this 14-acre plot was a thriving alfalfa farm owned by local pioneers George and Olga Lane, generously donated their land which now remains the only park in the entire Quartz Hill community, making it a highly cherished, centralized "living room" for the locals.
