Los Angeles County is not one sound, one culture, or one neighborhood.
Sounds of LA County is a free summer concert series brought to you by LA County Parks & NextFest LA
Putting local musicians and bands on the stage right in your neighborhood. We're bringing the festival experience to the heart of LA's communities, giving local artists a platform and giving residents a reason to gather.
108 nights of live music across 27 parks, curated to reflect the culture, diversity, and energy of the communities they call home. Every show is local, every show is free, and every show is a chance to discover the artists shaping LA County's indie music scene
why this summer concert series is different
Independent Artists & Local Voices
Sounds of LA County is a platform for working artists, the independent musicians, emerging acts, and community staples who define LA's music scene but rarely get a county-wide stage. This series changes that by bringing the festival experience to the community's front door.
Community-Rooted
Every concert is programmed to reflect the neighborhood it lives in. This is not a touring package dropped into a park, it is music chosen for and by the community, with artists who represent where LA County is and where it is headed.
Cultural Breadth & Exposure
The programming spans Latin, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Reggae, Country, Americana, Indie, Indigenous, Dance, and Family genres, but is always tied to the specific cultural identity of each park community. Unifying communities with music and discovery of local artists.
Free & Accessible
There are no tickets. No barriers. No upsells. This series exists to give every resident of LA County access to a live music festival experience in their own neighborhood. Including the silent demographic (young adults), through music and the creative community.
